Freezer Paper comes in various base stocks with various amounts of poly depending on the customers needs. Typical freezer paper for a 6 month freezer life is a 40# Bleach Kraft base laminated to 5 lbs of polyethylene. The premier freezer paper which has a one year freezer life is a 47# Bleach Kraft base laminated to 7 lbs of polyethylene. All poly applications are in compliance with FDA specifications for use in contact with food. PE coated papers are used for varied applications, however Freezer Wrap is primarily used for food service applications. Freezer Wrap is excellent to help prevent against freezer burn.
